Why it matters
The Starfire has been part of Guild's catalogue since the 1960s, and the numbering runs from the simple I versions to the more elaborate VI. The current Newark St. collection covers the affordable end, with double-cutaway and single-cutaway shapes and different pickup layouts. They have found a following among players who want a semi-hollow that is not a Gibson or an Epiphone.
Note
The slim semi-hollow line; Starfire IV/V/VI are the icons (grunge and indie revival favorites).
Specifications
- Scale length: unknown
