An Explorer-shaped electric from Epiphone's Inspired by Gibson Collection, with ProBucker humbuckers over a mahogany body.

Why it matters
Epiphone's Explorer recreates the 1958 shape at an import price, using a mahogany body, Epiphone ProBucker humbuckers with CTS electronics and Grover tuners. Gibson's own product page lists it at $699, which places it well below a USA-built Explorer. An Explorer '80s model with EMG pickups is also offered, at $899.
Note
Affordable Explorer reissue; huge value.
