Why it matters
Sonic replaced the Bullet line as Squier's least expensive range and includes short-scale Mustang and Bronco models intended for younger players. Fender lists the Sonic Stratocaster at $249.99. Nothing at this level is built for a lifetime, but the outlines and electronics follow the full-size Fender designs.
Note
Newest youth/entry line with fun colors and short scales.
